1700 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia

Opened 2014, a three level store, located in a historic stone-clad building in the downtown core of Philadelphia. Restoration work by Hoshide Wanzer Architects of the original building’s shell was done to maintain its historic architectural character while modern elements were added to distinguish and promote the Nordstrom Rack brand and shopping experience. As centerpiece, a three story open stairwell was designed into the space, to bring upper floor awareness, creating with it a large 35' high feature wall to highlight the brand story. My project environmental design work included storefront & display windows, interior built environments & feature walls that incorporating relief panels, illuminated signage, customized wall covering, window clings, acrylic elements and wayfinding focused on the Rack's visual and brand language.
